David Hamilton Coming to LDC
 Three time U.S. Professional Smooth Champion David Hamilton will be coaching at LDC on Sunday, September 27th. Private lessons are $160 per lesson. David will also host 2 group seminars on shaping and sway in foxtrot and waltz and the flavor anc character of tango. Classes are at 1pm and 1:45pm respectively. Seminars are $25 per person. Advanced registration is required.

Dance
Riccardo and Yulia will also give a heart-stopping floor show on Friday, October, 23rd. Reservations are required. The evening, from 7 to 11pm, will include an hors d'oeuvres & wine reception, as well as a ballroom dance party. Seats at the front tables are $100/person, and are sold on a first-come basis; all other seats are $80/person.
In Other Dance News:
The LDC SHOWCASE will be held Saturday, October 10th. Student Routines are from1 - 5pm. Spectator tickets are $5/person. Afterwards, there will be a cocktail party, dinner, dance, and professional floor show. Tickets for cocktails, dinner and dance are $50/person; tickets for the dance only are $20/person. The new 6-week session for all beginner's classes starts the week of October 5th. Classes include foxtrot/waltz, rumba/cha-cha, east coast swing, west coast swing, hustle, salsa, nightclub 2-step, and general social dancing. See our web calendar for class schedule.
Our next OPEN HOUSE will be held Sunday, October 4th, at 4:00 pm, with free introductory lessons for beginners and special introductory prices.
September's GUEST PARTY will take place on Saturday, September 19th, from 7 - 7:45pm. Admission is at least one qualified guest (guest must be a first time visitor to LDC). There will be a short guest lesson, light refreshments, and dancing with our staff. Reservations are required.
A special WEST COAST SWING STYLING CLASS will be held on Saturday, September. 26th, 7 - 7:45pm, with Connie. Cost is $10/person, followed by our East-Meets-West Swing Dance from 8 - 11pm.
For the month of September, Esther's Tuesday night silver group class, beginning at 7pm, will focus on the waltz and mambo.
LADIES NIGHT : Ladies, don't miss an exciting, fun-filled evening on Saturday, September 12th. From 7:30-8 pm the studio is yours for drinks & fun, followed by our regular Ballroom Dance from 8 to 11pm. You get all of this for only $5! Sorry guys, the dance is regular price for you ($10), but think of all the ladies you'll have to dance with that night..AND the next special party will be for you!
Join Minas and staff every Tuesday evening at 8:30pm to learn a dance routine set to music by Michael Jackson. This routine is very similar to a line dance. There is NO CHARGE to learn this group dance for performing at various locations and times. Registration is required. Coming soon...an anonymous survey with each newsletter on a different topic about studio events and activities. WE NEED YOU HELP in adding, dropping, and/or changing things at the studio, but first we need input from you, so please respond! The identity of each participant is hidden and is completely anonymous, so don't keep quiet if you have opinions about LDC. Tell us what you think about the staff, parties, cleanliness, friendliness, music, classes, etc.
